Monroe's is a destination for us when visiting family in south Georgia. We simply adore the hot dogs and on this trip, since we missed Monroe's so much, we went twice and it was great, both times.
I tried Monroe's today. This was my very first time. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I tried a slaw, chili dog and a chili dog, both with onions and a side of fries. Everything was pretty good. The fries were fresh and hot, just the way I like them. The only thing I disliked was my coke was a little flat. I do recommend this place. Go check them out. I will be back. I also have a suggestion. For the to-go orders, it will be nice to have a plastic bag being the chili and grease go through the bag. Thank you.

This is an old hot dog place with pool tables that no longer has pool tables. The hot dogs are so good that I got one on my first visit then came back the NEXT day and got two more. We live out of town in S.C. so coming back later was not a real option. I love hot good hot dogs and I could not pass up the chance to get more before heading home. These are hot dogs the way hot dogs are meant to be -- and the fries with gravy are also really good.
'Best dog ever bitten by man' is RIGHT! I love this place! It's always good and fresh food no matter when you come by! It's a popular local place that's been in business since I was a child and it's well loved by the locals. Employees are friendly and food is DELICIOUS every time!
All the locals talk about the best hot dogs in town, so we tried them! The slaw is oh my gosh good, the fries, the hotdogs 5 stars, within 10 minutes it was very busy, that's the reason locals love it! The lovely lady taking the orders, to the guy slinging the dogs it is a hidden gem in Americus!
